ADS · Addison
Addison is the north Dallas option, close to Preston Hollow, Plano and Frisco. Its runway is about 7,200 feet, which suits light, midsize and super midsize jets. North of the LBJ Freeway, Addison usually wins on drive time.
FTW · Fort Worth Meacham
Meacham is on the north side of Fort Worth, about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and the shorter drive for Southlake and Westlake. Its main runway is about 7,500 feet.
TEB · Teterboro Airport
Teterboro is in New Jersey, about 12 miles from Midtown Manhattan. It is a business jet airport with no airline flights, which is why it is the default for New York. Figure about 25 to 45 minutes to Midtown depending on traffic, usually through the Lincoln Tunnel. It has two runways of about 6,000 and 7,000 feet and a weight limit that keeps out the largest jets, so the specific airplane and load must be checked before it is recommended. The airport asks for quiet late at night, so a very late arrival may go to Westchester.
HPN · Westchester County
Westchester County Airport in White Plains is about 30 miles north of Midtown, about 45 minutes to an hour by car in normal traffic. It is the closer field for Greenwich, Westchester and Connecticut, and it is calmer than Teterboro. It has an overnight curfew, so plan arrivals before midnight.

- Teterboro sits inside New York's high density airspace. Your emailed planning estimate adds time for that. Expect sequencing on arrival, and on Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings expect ground delays on departure. The crew files early and we tell you if a slot moves.
- This is a long leg for a light jet. It works with a normal load, but on a windy winter day the flight home runs against the jet stream and a light jet may stop for fuel. A midsize or larger cabin removes that question.
- Summer thunderstorms in the Northeast produce ground stops that can hold a departure for an hour or two. An earlier departure usually beats them.
- Teterboro has a 100,000 pound weight limit. It is not a factor for the cabins on this page.
- Cars meet you on the ramp at both airports. For Manhattan, allow for tunnel or bridge traffic in the drive time.
