Hawker 800XP and 900XP
The Hawker 800XP and 900XP are midsize jets with a wide, flat floor cabin, about six feet across, and an enclosed lavatory at the back. Eight seats, baggage inside the cabin where you can reach it in flight, and about 2,500 to 2,800 nm of range, so the Northeast, Texas and the Rockies are nonstop from Nashville or Naples with a full cabin. They are aircraft we place clients on regularly from our sourcing network. The 900XP is the newer version, with newer engines and more range. Clients like the room to stand and the quiet ride.

How we estimate bag counts
We allow 60 to 80% of the listed baggage volume for packing. Assumed external dimensions: checked bag 28 × 20 × 12 in; golf travel bag 50 × 16 × 12 in; weekend bag 22 × 12 × 12 in. Counts are rounded down and show separate loads, not a combined allowance. Unspecified extra storage is excluded.

Many 800XPs are older than that, so they get the exception review: complete records, the operator's history with the tail, recent maintenance and the cabin's condition, before we offer one. A 900XP is 2007 or newer and meets the standard on its own.
- Crew time on type and whether the airplane is an 800XP or a 900XP. We check the equipment, records and performance for your itinerary.
- The runway. The Hawker needs more room than the Excel, about 5,000 feet on a normal day, so a pilot checks the field before we recommend it for a beach or mountain strip.

What is the difference between the Hawker 800XP and the 900XP?
Same cabin. The 900XP, from 2007, has newer engines, winglets and about 300 more nautical miles of range, and it does better out of a hot or high airport. From the seat they feel the same.
