Palm Beach International is about three miles west of downtown West Palm Beach. Count on about 10 minutes to downtown, about 15 to 20 minutes across the bridge to Palm Beach, about 25 minutes to Wellington and about 30 to 35 minutes to Jupiter or Boca Raton. The main runway is about 10,000 ft, with aircraft suitability confirmed for the planned load and conditions. Airlines use the terminal; you use the general aviation ramp on the other side of the field.
LNA · Palm Beach County Park
Palm Beach County Park in Lantana is a small field about six miles south of PBI with runways under 3,500 ft. Jets do not use it. It wins only for a turboprop trip to Lantana, Boynton Beach or Delray Beach, where it saves the drive north and back.

Palm Beach season runs November to April. Demand climbs at Thanksgiving, peaks from Christmas through New Year, and stays high through Presidents Day, the winter equestrian season in Wellington, spring break and Easter. In those weeks aircraft book early and quotes sit in the upper half of the range. Book two to three weeks ahead for a holiday week. May through October is quieter, with lower pricing and more choice.
- Nashville is on Central time and West Palm Beach is on Eastern, so you land an hour later by the clock than the flight time suggests.
- PBI is an airline airport, so in season you may hold a few minutes on arrival. It is still far quicker than the terminal.
- If you are staying in Jupiter or Palm Beach Gardens, ask. North County Airport (F45) takes light jets and turboprops and can save the drive.
